Catholics Return Home

The Parishes of Sts. Peter & Paul, Holy Cross, and St. James offer a program called "Catholics Return Home." This is a special ministry of compassion & reconciliation for people who have been away from the Church.
  • Are you a Catholic who now feels separated from the Church?
  • Would you like to feel at home in the Catholic Church again?
  • Have you left the Catholic Church because of a divorce or remarriage?
  • Were you raised Catholic but do not come to Church anymore?
  • Do you only attend Church on Christmas & Easter and wish to connect more to your faith?
  • Has the Catholic Church hurt you in some way?
If you answered yes, to any of these questions, attending Catholics Return Home may be the answer you are looking for.

Many non-practicing Catholics are seeking answers to questions about returning to the Church, and we can help them find their way home.

Our ministry offers:
  • An open door for returning Catholics without obstacles.
  • A friendly environment for asking any questions
  • An understanding ear for listening to your concerns
  • An open heart for healing the hurting
  • A heavy heart for the hurts of the Church
  • A willingness to love and care

If you or someone you know has left the Church, please have them contact the Religious Ed office at 812-768-6457. No matter how long you have been away or for whatever reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with Christ and His Church.
