Grief can be overwhelming. But no one has to face it alone. For anyone mourning the loss of a loved one, feelings of sadness, despair, anger, hopelessness and loneliness can seem impossible to manage. But many find comfort in the support they receive from others who have traveled or are traveling a similar journey. Sts. Peter & Paul is now hosting a monthly grief support group, here to offer support and guidance as we call upon the Lord to help us find comfort and peace in our time of grief. This group is facilitated by Shawn Bender and Dan Deer, both parishioners of Sts. Peter & Paul who have experienced loss in their own lives. Our group is designed to create a safe place where others feel comfortable discussing struggles and finding strength to continue on without their loved one. Together, we seek the grace to live with the questions in the confidence that God alone has the answers.
