What is the St. Vincent de Paul Society?

  • Our local St. Vincent de Paul Chapter is located at Sts. Peter & Paul. Their mission is to work to overcome poverty, homelessness, addiction, and domestic violence. Our local chapter mainly serves the Fort Branch & Haubstadt area.
  • Our parish is occasionally called upon for direct help with a financial situation or crisis. Our St. Vincent de Paul can help pay a utility bill, rent, or provide food for a local family in need.

How Can I Give?

  • Funds are raised through cash donations & membership dues. 2020 dues are $5.00.
  • Donations can be dropped in the collection in a marked envelope or in the poor boxes located at the church doors.

What Else Can I Do to Help?

Consider becoming an active member
  • Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Monday at 7:00 pm at Sts. Peter & Paul. All are welcome to attend. Stop in and see what we're all about!
Donate household items
  • Gently-used clothing and household items may be donated in the bin behind Sts. Peter & Paul School. Donations are taken to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
  • If the bin is full, please be respectful and come back another time. SVdP cannot accept anything that is left outside of the bin. Help keep our parish clean and safe! Thank you.
  • To schedule a pickup from your home or business,
call (812) 425-3148. SVdP is in our area on a weekly basis.
Pray for the needy
  • Please pray for all of our brothers and sisters in need.
